Scheduled – Aging

And when you’re older – at least in my experience – life becomes very routine. I’m not thinking of things to do, like clean the house, buy the food etc…but more on how I behave. As I don’t have many things to do I observe that I am quite predictable, both in the things that I do that in the things I say. I recognize that I react to situations and say things without having to think much.

For example, if something bad happens in the news I’m like ‘oh dear’. But does that really mean? I suppose that the exclamation ‘oh’ is fine but ‘dear’ belongs to a person living in the 30’s but one answer to make sense that belongs to the vocabulary of today. I will try to stop saying ‘oh dear’ but I have many more expressions like these which I hear myself saying all the time – I have the intention to pay more attention to what I say and when I say!

it Is quite boring, for others as well as for me. It has rained a little during the past month and the garden and orchard have been, and I think I said more than a hundred times ‘I hope it rains’ but at least I don’t have to say that … because it takes more than 24 hours, raining.

I Want to live spontaneously and if I think of myself too much I can not do it. But I will try to be less scheduled and more spontaneous and maybe surprise me once in a while and maybe others as well
